| I'm going to make the best of it. When I feel the vinegar strokes approaching, on the rare occasion I get to carnally know a woman, I shall think of that video. |

BTW, @atom, your quote Voltaire. However, if you knew even the slightest thing about him, you would realise that his sharpest writings would be to skewer people like you.He hated the presumptions of the pompous asses that had no care of concern for those not of the upper classes.ie: republicans.
Ahhhh Mannnn,..... WAS THAT HIS JUMK? 1:50

“I crossed the Line for the first time in 1982 aboard the USS Duncan. In addition to other abuses ("The Baby", the coffin, etc.) I still remember crawling through a 10 foot bag of garbage (the ***** chute) following my Division Officer who was vomiting as he crawled. Good times? No. But it was an experience. I got to dish out the abuse on deployments in 1985, '87, '89, '94, and '96, but those initiations where mild in comparison. It's just a tradition to break up the monotony of six months away from home.

The assumption that nobody here is questioning is that Iran would be wrong to enrich Uranium or build an atomic bomb -- and, implicitly, that the countries that currently have atomic bombs are somehow more entitled to those bombs. The idea that it would be good and fair to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities seems dangerous.Yes, creating nuclear bombs makes certain horrible scenarios possible, and it seems reckless and aggressive for anyone to construct a nuclear bomb. But if Iran having a nuclear bomb can make it less likely that the U.S. can attempt a repeat of the Iraq war in Iran, and make it less likely that Israel would attempt some sort of strike against Iran, then perhaps -- assuming that the leaders of all countries involved act rationally (which might not be assured when religion is involved) -- we might benefit from this new example of "mutually assured destruction".Countries invading other countries is not good for humanity. If one country invades another country, then I think the rest of the world can unite behind the idea of suppressing the aggressor. Given the track record of the U.S., I think it's reasonable to have a deterrent against being invaded by the U.S.. Likewise, I think it would be good for Taiwan to have a nuclear bomb to act as a deterrent against an invasion by China.I do think that world leaders can be irrational and dangerously crazy. It might be an unpopular view, but I think people in the Bush administration were a little bit crazy and dangerous. Likewise, I worry that the leaders of Pakistan and India might be irrational (due to religious belief, etc), and might eventually choose to use their atomic bombs against each other, despite the pointlessness of it.I'd prefer a world without nuclear bombs, but if having a nuclear bomb can help prevent countries invading other countries, then this might be a benefit for all countries. I think the U.S. and the world would have benefited from Saddam Hussein having an atomic bomb, because he would never have used it (because doing so would assure his destruction soon after), and the U.S. would probably have to think much harder about trying to get along with Iraq..
The coastal areas of California will be the most overpriced real estate markets in America for many years to come. The bubble buyers in these wealthy but overpriced areas used Option ARMs to buy houses they could not afford. Many of these people were issued 10 year ARMs (primarily by Wells Fargo), which means that true price discovery in these markets may not occur until the second half of the next decade.!

This kind of fits between the 5D MKII and the Rebel T1i as far as the video capabilities go. Not full-frame, but still takes decent shots. The linked video probably had a lens that was as or more expensive than the body, though. As a T1i user impressed by the quality of my camera at the price, I can say I would snatch the 7D or 5D Mark II if I had the cash. Great quality. The T1i has a tad grainy video in low light conditions, though.
