Hey, look... I recognize those clown fish!http://webecoist.com/2009/02/01/symbiotic-fish-ani ...
They do not pay for the end user's usage nor do they pay the salary of those employees that have to repair/maintain overwhelmed towers. All they do is write software and pay for their own internal bandwidth use. True as the end user i do pay a fee for mobile internet access but wireless internet was never designed for the kind of use that people are accustomed to with there wired internet service. I think that this constant fight between open and restricted usage without regard for network stability or the providers ability to turn a profit is going to push the Telcos to just raise data prices to recoup what they are losing on voice.

Jack, it's called intelligent debate. If you can't manage it, I will dumb it down for you.Your assertion "If we let people out of GitMo, they will move next door to us" is ridiculous on its face, and does not deserve a serious answer. I suggest you spend less time spewing out asinine comments, and more time reading a list of logical fallacies, so perhaps you can begin to avoid them. Here is a nice resource. I suggest you begin with "Misleading Vividness":http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/.

dugg for earth2. One of the best (and most creative) shows ever. Now most sci-fi is either a Star-Trek look alike or something to do with zombies etc.

91% of all air rage incidents are alcohol related, okay fine. How much air rage is averted because of alcohol. How many times is someone just about to choke out that sky ***** that should have been replaced by a coke machine years ago...Maybe someone gets on the plane and he's just been finger ***** way too many times trying to get from point a to point b.Waiting in lines and screened and searches its everything but looking in your ass its the only difference between that and a prison search and he goes through all that and he's about to tear out the larynx of the pig who tells him to sit up straight during take off because he's had enough. But no he has a few vodka collins first and he chills out just enough to let her live one more day. How many times has alcohol been the hero. _ Doug Stanhope

Internet can also be considered an idiot box. I know people who claim they watch no TV and are proud of it, but use Hulu. When I point out to them that they are watching the same content being shown on TV they say its different because its on their computer monitor. Then there's people who feel the need to use social network sites or use chatting services like aim instead of physically going out and meeting people. And then people who fall into the world of video games like MMORPGs and lose contact with the outside world. But, there are also educational benefits to the internet with so much content within reach. The same goes for TV. It all depends on the user. |
